Dr. Rachel Baublet Head was born and raised in Nacogdoches and was proud to return to serve East Texas in the summer of 2014. She received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Texas A&M University and she continues to be a loyal Aggie fan. She earned her medical degree at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, then went on to complete her general surgery internship and urology residency at the University of Mississippi in Jackson. Dr. Head is Board Certified by the American Board of Urology. She enjoys many areas of general and pediatric urology including: kidney stones, minimally invasive treatment for enlarged prostate, urinary incontinence and overactive bladder, men's health issues, bladder, kidney and prostate cancers, voiding dysfunction and childhood urologic disorders. She is a member of the American Urology Association, Texas Medical Association, Society of Women in Urology, and Christian Medical and Dental Association. Dr. Head is on full time staff at Nacogdoches Medical Center, Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital, and The Surgery Center of Nacogdoches. Her interests outside of urology include: spending time with her husband and three sons, involvement in her church, travel, cooking, and college football.
Rebekah Wagoner is a nurse practitioner who has joined the Rachel B Head, MD Urology team to expand access to urological care in Nacogdoches and the surrounding areas. She attended Panola College for her undergraduate, obtaining an Associates of Applied Science Nursing. Since 2010 she has served the Nacogdoches area in providing quality health care as a registered nurse focusing in women's health care, as well as, general medical and surgical care in the hospital setting. She completed her graduate work at Walden University graduating with a Master of Science in Nursing. She is licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing (BON) as an advanced practice registered nurse and certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners National Certification Board (AANPCB). She is a current member of both the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates (SUNA) and the American Urological Association (AUA). She is trained in urodynamic studies testing with years of experience in women's urogynecology including pelvic floor dysfunction, female urinary incontinence, and reproductive health. She is also BioTe certified for hormone optimization. In addition, she is Spanish speaking allowing her to communicate with Spanish speaking patients in their primary language regarding their health care needs. Her interests outside of work include spending time with her family, making arts and crafts with her kids, travel, and serving in her local church.
Bre was born in Nacogdoches, Texas. Her and her husband of 3 years have a home in her hometown of Garrison, Texas with their one child. Bre has been working in the medical field for 4 years and is looking into furthering her education. For her free time she enjoys the time she can have with her family and friends. Her hobbies consist of working out, catching and batting lessons, and coaching when she can.
Jamie was born and raised in East Texas and attended Stephen F Austin State University for her RN degree. She has been with our office since we first opened in 2015 and has been working in Healthcare since 2012. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their baby boy, traveling, fishing and reading.
Megan was born and raised in Nacogdoches Texas where she has made her home with her husband of 13 years and two children. She has worked in the Healthcare for over 13 years and enjoys serving the community she is from. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys volunteering with her daughter's softball, being outdoors with her family whenever she is able.
